Pride in Practice is an online resource where medical personnel can get information and educational resources on LGBTQ+ health care. Founded by Haidn Foster, it has become a valuable resource in bridging the gap between health care providers and the unique needs/challenges of LGBTQ+ health.

"I wanted to advance the state of LGBT health care education...We know that the LGBT community has disparate and almost uniformly worse health care outcomes compared to the general population. They have unique health care challenges that need to be addressed. I wanted to provide a forum for providers, medical students and community advocates and patients to share their stories, best practices and tips about how to make healthcare more LGBT-inclusive and competent."

                                                                          - Haidn Foster, UCCOM Medical Student

during his interview with UC News.
